Seeing that so many laptops and computers these days don’t come equipped with a DVD drive anymore, I’ve done away with returning images on DVDs. Thumb drive is the way to go. It has a bigger capacity, meaning I can return in the highest quality and it also copies faster.
I chose a dark-coloured wooden drive complimented by the organic and environment-friendly kraft box packaging. With each passing day presenting new trends in design and fashion, it’s easy to get lost in it all. Luckily, there’s something incredibly profound about a natural wooden look that transcends usability and simplicity, while preserving untouched elements of life, grace and beauty, just like what I achieved in my wedding photography.
The most important thing that I always keep in mind is that the packaging is a tangible representation of my brand and it is often the final impression I leave with my clients.
Update: Climate change is real. To reduce even the slightest carbon footprint, despite I’m already using environment-friendly thumb drives and boxes, I have decided to deliver the images on Cloud platforms (i.e. Google Drive and DropBox). Thumb drives will only be given upon request.
