Celebrating Boat + Cherie
A great start for this year. Boat and Cherie’s wedding is the first wedding I shot in 2016 and there are just so many things I love about this wedding.
Boat is from Thailand but works in New York. Cherie, on the other hand, is from Singapore but works in Thailand. We had never met when they engaged me, something that happens from time to time, the couples love my works and trust me to deliver. Cherie and myself chatted over Whatsapp trying to get to know each other better and I must say we really hit off well.
I only met Boat and Cherie on their actual day wedding in real persons, they looked so gorgeous together, with Boat looking sharp and Cherie looking ravishing. Shooting them before the start of solemnization and banquet was a breeze.
The South Beach is the newest hotel in town. Friendly staffs, exquisite and magnificent interiors and exteriors, I guess the most striking spot in the hotel is the ballroom. The ballroom is so out of this world and magical. It reminds me of the Great Hall of Hogwarts Castle in Harry Potter. The hall has tall walls that reach up to the ceiling, which is covered with candles and enchanted to look like the sky above. The South Beach ballroom has a wall enchanted (projected) with million of stars in the night sky. This is such a perfect place to hold a wedding.
